Joint master's with Hochschule Emden/Leer covering the technical, organisational, operational and managerial sides of maritime operations, with ship technology and management as the framework. First semester in Haugesund, second in Leer (Germany), then a profile in Maritime Technology and Management (Haugesund) or Sustainable Maritime Operations (Leer). Teaching in intensive sessions.
Relevant bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) in mechanical engineering, nautical science or maritime studies, with at least 80 ECTS specialisation in technical and/or nautical courses, or equivalent professional education.

No tuition fee for any applicant group because it is a joint degree (HVL fee page). Students pay a semester fee at the institution where they are enrolled.
