Terms of service

These terms apply when you use GG Consult, provided by GG Consult, Prinsessealleen 2F, 0276 Oslo, Norway. By creating an account or buying a package, you agree to them.

Who can use our service

You must be 18 or older to create an account or order a package.

Our service

We provide consulting for students applying to master's courses in Norway, including course shortlists and application guidance, and CV revisions for master's or job applications, as described in the package you choose. Your consultant reviews and approves every document before you receive it; with your separate consent, first drafts may be prepared with an AI tool. Information in the Requirements Hub is provided for guidance and may change, so always confirm it on the official university or UDI website. What we tell you about visas and residence permits is general information, not legal advice: for your own case, follow UDI's instructions or ask a lawyer.

Ordering and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars before you request a package. When you send a request, we send you payment details (bank transfer or Mobile Money) in your portal. Pay only to the account we give you there, and add the reference we ask for; we never ask for payment anywhere else. Your order starts once we have confirmed your payment. Any fees your bank or Mobile Money provider charges are yours to pay.

Every package is a one-time payment. If you upgrade to a higher master's package, you pay only the difference between what you have paid and the price of the new package. A paid CV Revision order can be credited once towards a master's package that includes a CV. Revisions are limited to what your package includes (CV Revision and Course Match: one round of changes per document; Complete Application Advisory: two rounds; Concierge: four rounds; requested in your portal). Motivation letters are limited to the number your package includes; extra letters can be bought for the price shown on your order page. Packages with limited places can only be bought while places remain for your intake. Meetings included in a package are booked in your portal and can be cancelled there up to 24 hours before; after that, a missed meeting counts as used.

Refunds

You can cancel a paid order and get a full refund until your consultant starts work on it, which is when your order's status changes to "In review". After that, the order can no longer be refunded, unless the right to cancel below gives you more.

If you live in Norway or elsewhere in the EU/EEA, you also have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of ordering (angrerett). Because you ask us to start as soon as your payment is confirmed, you pay for the work done up to the moment you cancel, and the right ends once the service has been fully delivered.

To cancel, message your consultant in your portal or email info@ggconsultnorway.com. Refunds are paid back the way you paid, within 14 days. This does not affect your other rights under consumer law.

Delivery and changes

• We aim to deliver your first documents within 10 working days of confirming your payment and receiving your completed application and the documents we ask for. If it will take longer, we'll tell you. Concierge follows the plan we agree with you.
• Ask for changes within 30 days of receiving a document (or its latest version).
• If we haven't heard from you for 6 months, even after reminders, we may close your order. Documents we've already delivered stay available in your portal.

No guarantee of admission

Universities, UDI and other authorities make their own decisions. We are not affiliated with them and cannot guarantee admission, a study permit or any other outcome.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate and complete information and genuine documents.
• Your CV and letters must reflect your own background and experience. Check and approve everything before you submit it, and check each university's rules on getting help with personal statements and motivation letters.
• Submit your own applications under your own name, and meet official deadlines. Deadline reminders we send are a courtesy, not a guarantee.
• If you give us false information or documents that are forged or altered, we will stop working on your order and end it without a refund.

Your content

You keep ownership of the documents and information you give us. You allow us to use them only to provide the service. You may use the CV and other deliverables we create for you for your own applications.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the decisions of universities, UDI or other authorities, for changes to official requirements, fees or deadlines, for reminders that arrive late or not at all, or for problems caused by incomplete or incorrect information you gave us. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as a lost study year, travel costs, application or visa fees, missed scholarships or lost income. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the package concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending the service

You can cancel as described under Refunds. We may end an order if you are abusive towards us, act dishonestly, or seriously break these terms. If we end an order for any other reason, we refund the part of the work we haven't done.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as outages at our service providers or at universities, illness, or natural disasters. We'll tell you and continue as soon as we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to orders sent after the change; an order you have already sent keeps the terms you accepted. We'll tell you about important changes in your portal or by email.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with our service, tell us first at info@ggconsultnorway.com or in your portal. We reply within 14 days and try to put things right. If we can't agree and you live in Norway, you can ask Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council) to help.

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live that can't be waived.
